E L F. Everlasting Friends. A fandom belongs to Super Junior where I found friends, happiness, laughter, joy, and also sadness. Being in this fandom has been part of my life. I started getting addicted to Kpop groups around 2009. Before 2009, I was only into K-Drama and didn't know much about Korean singers. I only knew and listened to big names such as Rain and BoA. The very first Kpop group that caught my eyes was DBSK. I was awed by their song and coreography because I was like western-minded where singers don't have particular coreography for their songs. DBSK may caught my attention, but Super Junior is the reason why I stan Kpop this long. I still remember the first Music Video of SJ I watched was "It's You", where Kyuhyun my eyes for the first time♥ As time goes by, I started to find out more and more about who Super Junior is. Watching their performances made me realise that they didn't start as an amazing group, but they've been becoming an amazing group day by day. Watching them in variety shows that they may look cool and make your jaws drop on stage but in real life, they're nothing but a bunch of dorks lol. They're not perfect, there's always that-one-member-that-lacks-something, but that's what makes me love them more. They complete each other. The perk of their long training time made their bonds stronger.
Beside Super Junior, there's SNSD that I love and stan the most. I used to hate SNSD back then in 2009, but the more I tried to hate them, the more I realised that they're too lovely and powerful to be hated. Similar to Super Junior, SNSD is powerful on stage but in variety shows, they're also a bunch of dorks lol. Being under the same company as SJ, no doubt that SNSD members also got long training time. But this long training time leads to the strong bond they've got now. Compared to other groups that debuted at the same year as SNSD and grows big as SNSD, only SNSD that remains the same in the term of original members. And especially as a S ♥ N E, I am really proud of them♥
For the past few years, Kpop has been part of my life, literally. When I'm down, Kpop becomes a light. I've been finding new great buddies. I also became an admin of a fanbase dedicated to Kyuhyun where we do projects and spread news. Not that I dedicate my life entirely for Kpop, because I know, someday I will leave these fandoms, both ELF and SONE. Becoming a fangirl will have been a memory someday. An unforgetable and precious memory in fact. I will never forget the days where I was so into Kpop. Watching their concert, buying both their official and unofficial goods, sleeping late to celebrate a member's birthday with other fans on internet, voting for them endlessly, But I'll make sure that I'm gonna walk out peacefully (:
