Sooo.. hi everyone! This is gonna be my first post in 2014. Happy new year btw! They say it's better to be late than never right? hahaha. How is your 2014 so far? Mine is.. Idk how to say it, pretty fun I think?

My first big moment in 2014 was the IVED (Indonesian Varsities English Debate) 2014 competition on Jan 10-14. I didn't make to the octo but at least I got to know how to debate much better through my great competitors, so I got that going for me (: Passing the intercomp itself was kinda surprising because I was pessimistic once the intercomp was done. I didn't think I would make it because IVED is a prestigious event and I've just joined the debating world in university a few months ago and pretty much sums up why I didn't put too much hope. But after IVED, my desire to improve my debating skill is increasing, so I can consider whether to join the competition again or not later hehehe.

My first GPA was also out in the beginning of 2014. All I could think of after seeing the result was "I'm gonna work harder to keep and make it perfect". I'm no person who make resolutions in the beginning of a year. It's not about a commitment issues, I just never have the willingness to make one. But I don't think if this one is considered as a resolution, but I really want to get a higher GPA this semester. I really do. I reckon it's tough considering my hectic schedule (which took my breath away just by looking at it just now! /excuse my exaggeration), 3 committees, and debate practises. Phew! After all, here comes the saying "no pain, no gain". Wish me luck, will you, everyone? :D
